I just won a bid on EBay …So what did I get?? I got a new Microphone its a Samson C01U – USB Studio Condenser Microphone very great mic with great… great reviews.
So the only thing todo is… Play the EBay “Shipping wait game”(TM) So after reading as much about this mic… People kept talking about this “SoftPre AMP” and how it makes the mic sound soo much better, Now the mic I got does not have the CD, So I had to download the SoftPre AMP witch I can’t find on there website at: http://www.samsontech.com/samson/products/microphones/usb-microphones/c01u/
So I found it online… 😀 So… here it is: Samson Softpre AMP For Windows XP and Windows 7 (Take note that it says winxp but it works for win7 too)

Has Jackie Chan really died? Thats the question on Twitter and FaceBook. This is infact is a rumor.
How did this rumor come to light? When a news website in Australia 7 News reported that a Los Angeles hospital reported to them that he died.
Quote from 7 News: “A Los Angeles hospital has reported that Jackie Chan has passed away. The legendary Hong Kong actor who appeared in over 100 films died last night following a heart attack. He was promoting his most recent film, ‘Kung Fu Panda 2.’ Doctors say his heavy schedule was causing extreme stress and putting too much pressure on his heart.”

Cause how the backend is setup Network URLs like: irc.irc-coolness.tld would brake the database so to fix thie issue we are using hashing for the &server=

If you have a wordpress website and would like to vist a page in ssl and not have the links on the page be non-ssl then try the following.
*Note that the following ties into the core of wordpress meaning there is no bulky plugins doing this.
Look inside of you wp-config.php file and locate the following:
define('WP_HOME', 'http://websitename.tld'); // blog url define('WP_SITEURL', 'http://websitename.tld'); // site url |
remove it and add the following:
if($_SERVER['HTTPS']){ $connecttype = "https"; }else{ $connecttype = "http"; } define('WP_HOME', 'http://websitename.tld.'); // blog url define('WP_SITEURL', $connecttype.'://websitename.tld'); // site url |
There you go all of you plugins and pages will stay in SSL if you enter ssl on you site at anytime.
Also try adding:
define('FORCE_SSL_ADMIN', true); |
If you would like the admin part to always be in ssl.
