Were there any other issues that pathetic non-geeks should know about switching to Ubuntu on the Aspire one KAV60? I tried to test it out while keeping windows by using an external cd drive. I used Ubuntu desktop 10.10, but didn't try to do much. My geek friends took off and I sheepishly went back to windows. Would video and sound have worked? It sounds like this notebook may be too old. I bow to your wisdom and hope for an understandable answer.
